Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Atsushi Kaga achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Paris in May last year. In the Art contemporain - vente online auction, the work This society we live in’ sold for EUR 2,520.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 1,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Atsushi Kaga achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Breakfast in January in May this year with an auction result of HKD 2,520,000.00 (€ 302,049.93).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Atsushi Kaga erzielte im Mai letzten Jahres bei Christies in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Art contemporain - vente online wurde die Arbeit This society we live in’ für EUR 2.520,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 1.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Atsushi Kaga erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Breakfast in January im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.520.000,00 (€ 302.049,93).
