In May 2015 Christies in New York held the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale Session II, which included the work Drawing for Good Painting by Ashley Bickerton. The »bidding war« ended at USD 25,000.00 (€ 22,739.68), 25% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Ashley Bickerton have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Seascape: Floating Costume to Drift for Eternity II in November 2013 with an auction result of USD 221,000.00 (€ 162,428.34).

Im Mai 2015 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale Session II durch, in der auch die Arbeit Drawing for Good Painting von Ashley Bickerton zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 25.000,00 (€ 22.739,68) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ashley Bickerton auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Seascape: Floating Costume to Drift for Eternity II im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 221.000,00 (€ 162.428,34).
