This work of art by Ashley Bickerton could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in December 2019 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Art Online | New York auction, the work Grey Reflecting Heads No. 2 changed hands for USD 6,875.00 (€ 6,123.63) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 7,000.00 – 9,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ashley Bickerton achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Seascape: Floating Costume to Drift for Eternity II in November 2013 with an auction result of USD 221,000.00 (€ 162,428.34).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ashley Bickerton konnte im Dezember 2019 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden.
