It achieved a price of SGD 22,800.00 (€ 10,982.72), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 52%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Arturo Luz achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Candle Vendors in November 2013 with an auction result of HKD 2,920,000.00 (€ 276,848.45).

Die Arbeit Three Black Objects von Arturo Luz wurde im April 2007 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings bei Sothebys in Singapur versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von SGD 22.800,00 (€ 10.982,72) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 52%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Arturo Luz erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Candle Vendors im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.920.000,00 (€ 276.848,45).
