Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Black Forms On White Space by Arturo Luz was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2015. It changed hands for a price of HKD 187,500.00 (€ 22,900.49) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 150,000.00 – 200,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Arturo Luz achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Candle Vendors in November 2013 with an auction result of HKD 2,920,000.00 (€ 276,848.45).

Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 187.500,00 (€ 22.900,49) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 150.000,00 – 200.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Arturo Luz erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Candle Vendors im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.920.000,00 (€ 276.848,45).
