Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Maya by Arturo Luz was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2016. The price achieved of HKD 112,500.00 (€ 12,674.81) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 90,000.00 – 150,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Arturo Luz achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Candle Vendors in November 2013 with an auction result of HKD 2,920,000.00 (€ 276,848.45).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Maya von Arturo Luz kam im April 2016 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 112.500,00 (€ 12.674,81) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 90.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Arturo Luz erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Candle Vendors im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.920.000,00 (€ 276.848,45).
