Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work Luggage by Armando Mariño for USD 1,125.00 (€ 961.05). This price was achieved in the auction Phillips x Artsy: Summer School 2018 at Phillips in an online auction and was even below the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Armando Mariño achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work El restaurador in August 2020 with an auction result of USD 22,500.00 (€ 18,850.54).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli 2018 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Luggage von Armando Mariño für USD 1.125,00 (€ 961,05) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Phillips x Artsy: Summer School 2018 bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Armando Mariño erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit El restaurador im August 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 22.500,00 (€ 18.850,54).
