Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Armando Mariño could be acquired at Bonhams in February this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Modern & Contemporary Cuban Art auction, this work without title changed hands for USD 765.00 (€ 721.56) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Armando Mariño achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work El restaurador in August 2020 with an auction result of USD 22,500.00 (€ 18,850.54).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Armando Mariño konnte im Februar diesen Jahres bei Bonhams für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Modern & Contemporary Cuban Art wechselte diese Arbeit ohne Titel für USD 765,00 (€ 721,56) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Armando Mariño erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit El restaurador im August 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 22.500,00 (€ 18.850,54).
