Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Armando Mariño could be acquired at Christies in New York in October this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Latin American Art Online auction, the work Los centinelas changed hands for USD 2,520.00 (€ 2,384.56) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Armando Mariño have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work El restaurador in August 2020 with an auction result of USD 22,500.00 (€ 18,850.54).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Armando Mariño konnte im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Latin American Art Online wechselte die Arbeit Los centinelas für USD 2.520,00 (€ 2.384,56) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Armando Mariño auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit El restaurador im August 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 22.500,00 (€ 18.850,54).
