Auction result well in line with expectations
In February 2016 Christies in London held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art & Picasso Ceramics, which included the work Paesaggio Torino di Sangro by Antonio Donghi. The price achieved of GBP 22,500.00 (€ 28,830.97) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 18,000.00 – 25,000.00. Admittedly, works by Antonio Donghi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ragazzi Alla Finestra in April 2018 with an auction result of EUR 175,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Februar 2016 führte Christies in London die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art & Picasso Ceramics durch, in der auch die Arbeit Paesaggio Torino di Sangro von Antonio Donghi zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 22.500,00 (€ 28.830,97) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 18.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Antonio Donghi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Ragazzi Alla Finestra im April 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 175.000,00.
