Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Viole nel vaso by Antonio Donghi was sold in the Impressionist and Modern Art Day Sale auction at Christies in London in February 2019. It changed hands for a price of GBP 32,500.00 (€ 37,912.38) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Admittedly, works by Antonio Donghi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ragazzi Alla Finestra in April 2018 with an auction result of EUR 175,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Viole nel vaso von Antonio Donghi wurde im Februar 2019 in der Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art Day Sale bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 32.500,00 (€ 37.912,38) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 25.000,00 – 35.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Antonio Donghi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Ragazzi Alla Finestra im April 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 175.000,00.
