Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work La Libreria. V. by Giovanni Antonio Canal was auctioned at Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts in September this year. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,536.00 (€ 1,536.00). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giovanni Antonio Canal achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Bucintoro At The Molo, Venice, On Ascension Day in July 2005 with an auction result of GBP 11,432,000.00 (€ 16,582,008.08).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit La Libreria. V. von Giovanni Antonio Canal kam im September diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 1.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.536,00 (€ 1.536,00) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giovanni Antonio Canal erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Bucintoro At The Molo, Venice, On Ascension Day im Juli 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 11.432.000,00 (€ 16.582.008,08).
