Auction result misses estimated price range
In May 2014 a collector was able to acquire the work Los Padres De Ramona by Antonio Berni for USD 5,938.00 (€ 4,353.37). This price was achieved in the auction Latin American Art Modern & Contemporary at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Antonio Berni achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Los Emigrantes in November 2013 with an auction result of USD 755,000.00 (€ 554,902.25).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai 2014 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Los Padres De Ramona von Antonio Berni für USD 5.938,00 (€ 4.353,37) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Latin American Art Modern & Contemporary bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Antonio Berni erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Los Emigrantes im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 755.000,00 (€ 554.902,25).
