Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work El caballo y el picador by Antonio Berni was sold in the Latin American Art Online auction at Christies in New York in May 2018. Here, the upper estimate of USD 4,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 4,375.00 (€ 3,748.93). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Antonio Berni achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Los Emigrantes in November 2013 with an auction result of USD 755,000.00 (€ 554,902.25).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit El caballo y el picador von Antonio Berni wurde im Mai 2018 in der Auktion Latin American Art Online bei Christies in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 4.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 4.375,00 (€ 3.748,93) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Antonio Berni erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Los Emigrantes im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 755.000,00 (€ 554.902,25).
