Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A Busy Canal In A Dutch Town by Antonie Waldorp was sold in the 19th Century European Paintings auction at Sothebys in Amsterdam in October 2006. The price achieved of EUR 6,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Antonie Waldorp have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A royal barge on a choppy river with slot Loevestein in the background in October 2001 with an auction result of EUR 37,600.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A Busy Canal In A Dutch Town von Antonie Waldorp wurde im Oktober 2006 in der Auktion 19th Century European Paintings bei Sothebys in Amsterdam versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 6.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Antonie Waldorp auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A royal barge on a choppy river with slot Loevestein in the background im Oktober 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 37.600,00.
