Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2002 a collector was able to acquire the work A still life with a jug by Anthon van Rappard for EUR 717.00. This price was achieved in the auction Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings at Christies in Amsterdam and was even below the estimate range of EUR 800.00 – 1,200.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Anthon van Rappard achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Young Workman At A Stretching Frame in October 2006 with an auction result of EUR 14,400.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September 2002 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit A still life with a jug von Anthon van Rappard für EUR 717,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings bei Christies in Amsterdam erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 800,00 – 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Anthon van Rappard erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Young Workman At A Stretching Frame im Oktober 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 14.400,00.
