Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2004 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS, which included the work A man in his workshop by Anthon van Rappard. The price achieved of EUR 5,975.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Anthon van Rappard - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Young Workman At A Stretching Frame, which sold at auction in October 2006 for EUR 14,400.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2004 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS durch, in der auch die Arbeit A man in his workshop von Anthon van Rappard zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 5.975,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Anthon van Rappard mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A Young Workman At A Stretching Frame beobachtet, die im Oktober 2006 für EUR 14.400,00 versteigert wurde.
