Auction result well in line with expectations
The work De Krabbers (kantoenweverij): at the weaving-looms by Anthon van Rappard was sold in the 19th CenturyEuropean Art auction at Christies in Amsterdam in October 2007. The price achieved of EUR 3,750.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Anthon van Rappard - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Young Workman At A Stretching Frame, which sold at auction in October 2006 for EUR 14,400.00.

Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 3.750,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden.
