The result of GBP 3,000.00 (€ 3,150.87) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Anthony Green - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Chinese Lantern, which sold at auction in March 2007 for USD 16,800.00 (€ 12,561.69).
