In March 2012 Christies in London held the auction 20th Century British Art, which included the work Our 23rd Wedding Anniversary by Anthony Green. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 4,375.00 (€ 5,244.82), 25% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Anthony Green - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Chinese Lantern, which sold at auction in March 2007 for USD 16,800.00 (€ 12,561.69).

Im März 2012 führte Christies in London die Auktion 20th Century British Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Our 23rd Wedding Anniversary von Anthony Green zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 4.375,00 (€ 5.244,82) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Anthony Green mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Chinese Lantern beobachtet, die im März 2007 für USD 16.800,00 (€ 12.561,69) versteigert wurde.
