Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In March 2016 Christies in London held the auction Modern British & Irish Art, which included the work Kiss At The Ritz by Anthony Green. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,625.00 (€ 2,051.72). Admittedly, works by Anthony Green have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Chinese Lantern in March 2007 with an auction result of USD 16,800.00 (€ 12,561.69).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im März 2016 führte Christies in London die Auktion Modern British & Irish Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Kiss At The Ritz von Anthony Green zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 1.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.625,00 (€ 2.051,72) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Anthony Green auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Chinese Lantern im März 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 16.800,00 (€ 12.561,69).
