Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

The work Storage Tanks, Rotherhithe; Seacon Wharf, Limehouse Reach; Three wrecks, St David's Bay; Tug with barges approaching Wood Wharf, Greenwich; and The Thames Barrier, Canary Wharf and Dome by Anne E. Christopherson was sold in the Christie's Interiors - Oak Edition auction at Christies in London in May 2008. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 600.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 687.50 (€ 874.53). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Anne E. Christopherson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Roofs and holly trees, The Point, Greenwich; Woodbridge town hall; and Rooftops, Hyde Vale, which sold at auction in May 2008 for GBP 2,000.00 (€ 2,544.09).
