Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Snowy Bank with Fig Trees (Greenwich) by Anne E. Christopherson was sold in the Home & Interiors auction at Bonhams in April this year. The price achieved of GBP 701.25 (€ 799.20) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 600.00 – 800.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Anne E. Christopherson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Roofs and holly trees, The Point, Greenwich; Woodbridge town hall; and Rooftops, Hyde Vale, which sold at auction in May 2008 for GBP 2,000.00 (€ 2,544.09).
