The work Fig tree and walled city, Ibiza; Houses and gateway, Ibiza; Gnarled tree and door, Ibiza; Street with steps, Ibiza; and Street corner, Ibiza by Anne E. Christopherson was sold in the Christie's Interiors - Oak Edition auction at Christies in London in May 2008. The price achieved of GBP 687.50 (€ 874.53) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 500.00 – 800.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Anne E. Christopherson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Roofs and holly trees, The Point, Greenwich; Woodbridge town hall; and Rooftops, Hyde Vale, which sold at auction in May 2008 for GBP 2,000.00 (€ 2,544.09).
