Auction result misses estimated price range
In May 2008 a collector was able to acquire the work Avenue at dusk; Side of barge; Branches of pear and nut trees; Leaf shadows on an old wall; and In the New Forest by Anne E. Christopherson for GBP 300.00 (€ 381.61). This price was achieved in the auction Christie's Interiors - Oak Edition at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 400.00 – 600.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Anne E. Christopherson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Roofs and holly trees, The Point, Greenwich; Woodbridge town hall; and Rooftops, Hyde Vale in May 2008 with an auction result of GBP 2,000.00 (€ 2,544.09).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
