Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2009 Phillips in New York held the auction Modern and Contemporary Editions, which included the work Jasmine by Anne Appleby. The price achieved of USD 875.00 (€ 624.11) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 800.00 – 1,000.00. Admittedly, works by Anne Appleby have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work „Red/Green“ in December 2017 with an auction result of EUR 5,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2009 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Editions durch, in der auch die Arbeit Jasmine von Anne Appleby zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 875,00 (€ 624,11) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 800,00 – 1.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Anne Appleby auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit „Red/Green“ im Dezember 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 5.000,00.
