In May 2010 Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Spring Modern Sale, which included the work "Before the Storm" by Ann Eringstam. The »bidding war« ended at SEK 32,000.00 (€ 3,319.27), 60% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ann Eringstam - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work "In search of wonderland 3", 2011, which sold at auction in May 2012 for SEK 94,000.00 (€ 9,929.15).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 60 % übertroffen
Im Mai 2010 führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion Spring Modern Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit "Before the Storm" von Ann Eringstam zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von SEK 32.000,00 (€ 3.319,27) und damit 60% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Ann Eringstam mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit "In search of wonderland 3", 2011 beobachtet, die im Mai 2012 für SEK 94.000,00 (€ 9.929,15) versteigert wurde.
