Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work "In Search of Wonderland I", 2011 by Ann Eringstam was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in May 2017, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 50,000.00 – 60,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 46,000.00 (€ 4,716.27). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ann Eringstam - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work "In search of wonderland 3", 2011, which sold at auction in May 2012 for SEK 94,000.00 (€ 9,929.15).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit "In Search of Wonderland I", 2011 von Ann Eringstam im Mai 2017 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 50.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 46.000,00 (€ 4.716,27) den Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Ann Eringstam mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit "In search of wonderland 3", 2011 beobachtet, die im Mai 2012 für SEK 94.000,00 (€ 9.929,15) versteigert wurde.
