Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Angelo Savelli achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in New York in March 2013. In the Contemporary Art auction, the work Golden Age sold for USD 43,750.00 (€ 34,137.02) - well above the upper estimate of USD 20,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Angelo Savelli; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Senza titolo sold at auction in May 2007 with the realized price of EUR 68,200.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Angelo Savelli erzielte im März 2013 bei Sothebys in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Golden Age für USD 43.750,00 (€ 34.137,02) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 20.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Angelo Savelli; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Senza titolo im Mai 2007 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 68.200,00.
