Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Loose Fit XXX11 (dark purple) by Angela de la Cruz was sold in the Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Auction auction at Christies in London in February 2015. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 9,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 9,375.00 (€ 12,926.73). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Angela de la Cruz - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Knackered, which sold at auction in February 2011 for GBP 28,750.00 (€ 33,865.09).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Loose Fit XXX11 (dark purple) von Angela de la Cruz wurde im Februar 2015 in der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Auction bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 9.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 9.375,00 (€ 12.926,73) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Angela de la Cruz mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Knackered beobachtet, die im Februar 2011 für GBP 28.750,00 (€ 33.865,09) versteigert wurde.
