Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2013 Phillips in London held the auction Contemporary Art Day Sale, which included the work Hung (White/Brown) 3 by Angela de la Cruz. It changed hands for a price of GBP 13,750.00 (€ 16,048.71) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Angela de la Cruz - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Knackered, which sold at auction in February 2011 for GBP 28,750.00 (€ 33,865.09).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2013 führte Phillips in London die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Hung (White/Brown) 3 von Angela de la Cruz zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 13.750,00 (€ 16.048,71) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Angela de la Cruz mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Knackered beobachtet, die im Februar 2011 für GBP 28.750,00 (€ 33.865,09) versteigert wurde.
