from the edition of unknown size, a few of the colored pages faded, time staining, otherwise all in good condition, lacking the illustrated cover and binding, all unframed.

Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Holy Cats by Andy Warhol's Mother book by Andy Warhol was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Editions auction at Phillips in New York in November 2008. The price achieved of USD 3,750.00 (€ 2,954.15) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Andy Warhol achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Shot Sage Blue Marilyn in May last year with an auction result of USD 195,040,000.00 (€ 181,753,797.41).

Die Arbeit Holy Cats by Andy Warhol's Mother book von Andy Warhol wurde im November 2008 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Editions bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 3.750,00 (€ 2.954,15) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Andy Warhol erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Shot Sage Blue Marilyn im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 195.040.000,00 (€ 181.753.797,41).
