Despite a disappointment, a good price for Andrew Sendor
In October 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work The Great Tree of Life by Andrew Sendor for USD 1,750.00 (€ 1,544.30). This price was achieved in the auction The Collection of Melva Bucksbaum: Post-War and Contemporary Art, Photographs and Prints at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00 set by the auction house. Despite this disappointing result, The Great Tree of Life is the most expensive artwork by Andrew Sendor that we have observed at auction so far.
