Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 1,638.00 (€ 1,884.18) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Andrew Robertson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait Of A Lady, Traditionally Identified As The Artist'S Wife in July 2010 with an auction result of GBP 8,125.00 (€ 9,769.40).
