Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Portrait Of A Lady, Circa 1810 by Andrew Robertson was sold in the Old Master Paintings and Portrait Miniatures auction at Sothebys in London in April 2021. The price achieved of GBP 1,638.00 (€ 1,884.18) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Andrew Robertson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait Of A Lady, Traditionally Identified As The Artist'S Wife in July 2010 with an auction result of GBP 8,125.00 (€ 9,769.40).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Portrait Of A Lady, Circa 1810 von Andrew Robertson wurde im April 2021 in der Auktion Old Master Paintings and Portrait Miniatures bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.638,00 (€ 1.884,18) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden.
