Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sir Peter Rivers, seated in a black coat and frilled white cravat; window and tree background by Andrew Robertson was sold in the At Home - Portrait Miniatures, Objects of Vertu and Silver auction at Christies in London in March 2004. It changed hands for a price of GBP 454.10 (€ 679.75) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 300.00 – 500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Andrew Robertson achieve.
