Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Andrew Robertson achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in December 2020. In the Old Master and British Works on Paper, including Portrait Miniatures from the Pohl-Ströher Collection auction, the work Portrait of Princess Amelia of Great Britain (1783-1810) sold for GBP 5,292.00 (€ 5,911.64) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,800.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Andrew Robertson; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Portrait Of A Lady, Traditionally Identified As The Artist'S Wife sold at auction in July 2010 with the realized price of GBP 8,125.00 (€ 9,769.40).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Andrew Robertson erzielte im Dezember 2020 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis.
