Auction result well in line with expectations
In February 2007 Phillips in New York held the auction Under the Influence, which included the work Untitled (Hand) by Andrew Mania. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 3,120.00 (€ 2,358.28) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Andrew Mania have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2008 the work Untitled (White) was auctioned for USD 4,688.00 (€ 3,011.31).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Februar 2007 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Under the Influence durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled (Hand) von Andrew Mania zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 3.120,00 (€ 2.358,28) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Andrew Mania konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im April 2008 die Arbeit Untitled (White) für USD 4.688,00 (€ 3.011,31) versteigert.
