Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Andrew Mania was auctioned at Christies in New York in February 2020. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 600.00 – 800.00, the actual price achieved of USD 625.00 (€ 566.89) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Andrew Mania have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled (White) in April 2008 with an auction result of USD 4,688.00 (€ 3,011.31).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Andrew Mania kam im Februar 2020 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 600,00 – 800,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 625,00 (€ 566,89) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Andrew Mania auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled (White) im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 4.688,00 (€ 3.011,31).
