Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Second Avenue No. 5 by Andrew Lord was auctioned at Christies in New York in July 2013. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 5,250.00 (€ 3,952.72) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Andrew Lord have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Jug in March 2014 with an auction result of USD 30,000.00 (€ 21,775.42).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Second Avenue No. 5 von Andrew Lord kam im Juli 2013 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 5.250,00 (€ 3.952,72) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Andrew Lord auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Jug im März 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 30.000,00 (€ 21.775,42).
