Auction result misses estimated price range
In September last year a collector was able to acquire the work Untitled (April Drawing 2, Version 4) by Amy Sillman for USD 14,000.00 (€ 14,310.54). This price was achieved in the auction Post-War to Present at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 18,000.00 – 25,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Amy Sillman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Your Affection in November 2021 with an auction result of USD 870,000.00 (€ 770,798.26).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Untitled (April Drawing 2, Version 4) von Amy Sillman für USD 14.000,00 (€ 14.310,54) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Post-War to Present bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 18.000,00 – 25.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Amy Sillman erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Your Affection im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 870.000,00 (€ 770.798,26).
