Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2013 a collector was able to acquire the work Millie by Amy Cutler for USD 250.00 (€ 188.22). This price was achieved in the auction First Impression Prints and Multiples at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 800.00 – 1,200.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Amy Cutler achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bionic Contortion in August 2019 with an auction result of GBP 22,500.00 (€ 24,909.91).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli 2013 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Millie von Amy Cutler für USD 250,00 (€ 188,22) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion First Impression Prints and Multiples bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 800,00 – 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Amy Cutler erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bionic Contortion im August 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 22.500,00 (€ 24.909,91).
