Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2009 a collector was able to acquire the work Untitled #960576 by Alvin Booth for USD 750.00 (€ 566.29). This price was achieved in the auction Photographs at Phillips in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 800.00 – 1,200.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alvin Booth achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled sequence of images from Corpus in October 2002 with an auction result of USD 5,975.00 (€ 6,046.96).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2009 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Untitled #960576 von Alvin Booth für USD 750,00 (€ 566,29) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Photographs bei Phillips in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 800,00 – 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alvin Booth erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled sequence of images from Corpus im Oktober 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 5.975,00 (€ 6.046,96).
