This artwork by Alvin Booth achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in February 2009. In the Icons of Glamour and Style: The Constantiner Collection Part II auction, the work Untitled images, 2000 sold for USD 6,875.00 (€ 5,429.63) - well above the upper estimate of USD 3,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Alvin Booth; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Untitled sequence of images from Corpus sold at auction in October 2002 with the realized price of USD 5,975.00 (€ 6,046.96).
