Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Paysage urbain by Alphonse Quizet was auctioned at Christies in Paris in July 2011. The price achieved of EUR 687.50 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 500.00 – 800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alphonse Quizet achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Canal d'Aubervillier in February 2011 with an auction result of GBP 6,875.00 (€ 8,098.17).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 687,50 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 500,00 – 800,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alphonse Quizet erzielen.
