In December 2021 Sothebys in Zurich held the auction The Swiss Fine Art Sale, which included the work Prix Nobel de Suède by Aloïse Corbaz. The »bidding war« ended at CHF 21,420.00 (€ 20,691.36), 43% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Aloïse Corbaz have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Aristoloches (double-sided), circa 1925-1933 in January 2018 with an auction result of USD 137,500.00 (€ 110,637.27).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 43 % übertroffen
Im Dezember 2021 führte Sothebys in Zürich die Auktion The Swiss Fine Art Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Prix Nobel de Suède von Aloïse Corbaz zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von CHF 21.420,00 (€ 20.691,36) und damit 43% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Aloïse Corbaz auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Aristoloches (double-sided), circa 1925-1933 im Januar 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 137.500,00 (€ 110.637,27).
