The work Mostly Sitting Haiku. (Paterson, New Jersey: From Here Press, 1978); Presentation Copy by Allen Ginsberg was worth USD 6,250.00 (€ 5,666.88) to a buyer in March 2020. This price was achieved in the auction Alfred Stieglitz, Georgia O’Keeffe, Juan Hamilton: Passage at Sothebys in New York and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of USD 1,500.00 many times over. Admittedly, works by Allen Ginsberg have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Selected images of Jack Kerouac, William Burroughs, Neal Cassady and Peter Orlovsky, 1953-1957 in October 2008 with an auction result of USD 35,000.00 (€ 27,598.17).
