Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work Trees by Allan Kaprow for USD 750.00 (€ 621.17). This price was achieved in the auction Editions & Works on Paper at Phillips in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 800.00 – 1,200.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Allan Kaprow achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Hysteria in September 2015 with an auction result of GBP 140,500.00 (€ 190,270.38).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2018 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Trees von Allan Kaprow für USD 750,00 (€ 621,17) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Editions & Works on Paper bei Phillips in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 800,00 – 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Allan Kaprow erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Hysteria im September 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 140.500,00 (€ 190.270,38).
