Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Lampe-Sculpture, Circa 1970 by Alina Szapocznikow was sold in the Contemporary Art 1 auction at Artcurial in June 2013. The price achieved of EUR 311,594.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 250,000.00 – 350,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alina Szapocznikow - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Portret Wielokrotny (Dwukrotny) [Multiple Portrait (Double)|AID1113401], which sold at auction in May this year for USD 907,200.00 (€ 851,511.17).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Lampe-Sculpture, Circa 1970 von Alina Szapocznikow wurde im Juni 2013 in der Auktion Contemporary Art 1 bei Artcurial versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 311.594,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 250.000,00 – 350.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Alina Szapocznikow mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Portret Wielokrotny (Dwukrotny) [Multiple Portrait (Double)|AID1113401] beobachtet, die im Mai diesen Jahres für USD 907.200,00 (€ 851.511,17) versteigert wurde.
