This work without title by Alicia Penalba was sold in the Contemporary Curated auction at Sothebys in London in November 2020. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 21,420.00 (€ 23,911.95), 43% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Alicia Penalba have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ventisquero in March this year with an auction result of USD 107,100.00 (€ 98,509.93).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Alicia Penalba wurde im November 2020 in der Auktion Contemporary Curated bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 21.420,00 (€ 23.911,95) und damit 43% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alicia Penalba auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Ventisquero im März diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 107.100,00 (€ 98.509,93).
