Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2020 a collector was able to acquire the work Alfareros by Alfredo Ramos Martínez for USD 52,500.00 (€ 46,745.61). This price was achieved in the auction Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alfredo Ramos Martínez achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Flowers of Mexico in June 2007 with an auction result of USD 4,072,000.00 (€ 3,011,834.32).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2020 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Alfareros von Alfredo Ramos Martínez für USD 52.500,00 (€ 46.745,61) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alfredo Ramos Martínez erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Flowers of Mexico im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 4.072.000,00 (€ 3.011.834,32).
